The Diaz family was such a joy to work with! Giancarlo, Natalia and their two daughters met me at E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest one Sunday morning bright and early, right after sunrise! It was SO early and very chilly, but completely worth it!
The Diaz fam was recommended to contact me by another one of my wonderful clients (thanks Miller fam!). We had to reschedule their original date due to rainy weather, and I’m so glad I was able to work them in before the end of 2022! They showed up in coordinating outfits that worked out great together, all while showing their personalities.
The girls were a little shy (and probably sleepy) at first, but it took no time at all for me to get them to open up—these girls were made for the camera!! They were completely themselves, and we had such a fun time trying different poses and locations. Their youngest, Victoria, even came up with a few ideas herself. 🙂 I loved the enthusiasm!!! Isabella, their older daughter, was smiling from the moment we met. What photographer wouldn’t be happy with that?
The most important thing to the Diaz family, other than documenting their family at this current stage in their lives, was to make sure they had plenty of fall colors. We originally were planning to shoot in the beginning of November, but the rain had us push their session to the first weekend in December. They were a little hesitant that we’d be able to give them the colorful images they craved, so I assured them that would be no problem at all—and we succeeded!! Check out their colorful session down below!
